This is a little INIT that I wrote on the plane home from MacHack summer 1992. It serves only a single, simple, devious purpose: it disables the software that makes the PowerBook go click whenever sound is used. After the first click, it will never click again.
Note: Apple designed the PowerBook software so that the Apple Sound chip is shut off after 10 seconds of inactivity. This is why your PowerBook goes "click!" The main reason it does this is to save power. I got so tired of the click, that I wrote this INIT.
This software is provided "AS-IS." Use it at your own risk. I've been using it for months, and it works for me.
